Trieste, February 2020, on the eve of the pandemic.
Entropy, a measure of disorder, affects all aspects of our daily lives. The heat from our morning coffee is spreading out, the floor is getting dusty, cells within our body are dying and degrading. Order is artificial and temporary, while the existence of entropy is what keeps us on our toes. Entropy takes up the most time and tedium, while the periods of transformation and revelation are brief and succinct. And so is human life, a fleeting moment in space and time. Each moment passes, things change and Entropy reasserts itself.
